In this presentation, VSI Labs’ Founder & President, Phil Magney, decomposes the functional domains of an automated vehicle with specific examples from VSI’s fleet of research vehicles. This session will cover the base architecture of the vehicle followed by and extensive examination of sensor technologies and compute platforms from Danny Kim. Lastly, we will cover the tool chains necessary to support the development of automated vehicle functions.
