Description

Building a vehicle for the test and development of ADAS and automated driving is a hugely complex endeavor and requires careful planning. VSI Labs’ Founder & President Phil Magney, along with other VSI engineers & analysts, will cover considerations like choosing a base vehicle platform, building a domain controller, selecting an initial sensor package, and more. They will also explore some of the overlooked elements such as liability, and what you must do to limit your exposure. We recommend this session for anyone involved or interested in building a vehicle for the test and development of ADAS and automated driving.

Established in 2014, VSI Labs provides technical and applied research on the hardware, software and connectivity systems necessary to support advanced safety and automated driving systems. Today, VSI is considered one of the industry’s top advisors by supporting R&D and planning departments within major automotive companies and suppliers worldwide.
